Kurnool: Police destroy illicit liquor units
The Excise police conducted a raid on the hillocks of Kondammanayuni Palle village in Banaganapalle constituency and destroyed illicit liquor manufacturing units.

Speaking to media here on Wednesday, Circle Inspector Chandra Mohan said that acting on tip-off that illicit liquor being manufactured on the hills, the police conducted raids and destroyed the units.
He said on learning about the raids, those who are manufacturing the illicit liquor fled the scene abandoning the materials.
"We have destroyed 7,000 litres of jaggery wash and 200 litres of manufactured liquor in the raid," he said. The CI said the department was hunting for absconding persons and if caught they would be punished severely. He also warned that anyone found selling spurious liquor would face stringent action. Sub Inspector Srikanth Reddy and other police team participated in the raid.
