Lovers attempt suicide in Nellore district
In an incident, lovers ran away from home with the fear that their family elders will not accept their love.
Nellore: In an incident, lovers ran away from home with the fear that their family elders will not accept their love. On receiving the information from the family members, the police caught them. On seeing the police, the lovers attempted suicide by consuming the pesticides which they brought with them. This incident has taken place in the Nellore district.
Going into details, Syed Khadar Basha, a native of Ulavapadu mandal of Prakasam district was in love with a 10th class girl from a village in the same mandal.
Recently, both ran away from the house fearing that their family members will separate them. On this, the girl's family members lodged a complaint with Ulavapadu police station.
Based on the cell phone signal of Basha, the police spotted them traveling towards Ongole from Seetharamapuram on a bike. Immediately, Ulavapadu police informed Seetharamapuram SI.
Upon receiving the information, the police stopped the lovers at Pabbuletipalle village and inquired about the details. On seeing the police, they became nervous, consumed pesticides and attempted suicide.
The police rushed them to Seetharamapuram in the patrol vehicle and shifted to the Udayagiri government hospital in 108 ambulance service. Now they are said to be out of danger. On the incident, the police have registered a case and investigating further.
