Man strangle wife with wire in Nellore district

Nellore: In a tragic incident, a man strangled his wife with the wire around her neck at Naidupeta in Nellore district.

Going into details, Dheeraj a native of Naidupeta got married to Gomati three years ago. They also have a one-year-old child. On Sunday afternoon, Dheeraj killed Gomati by tightening a wire around her neck. In order to portray the incident as suicide, he tried to shift the body to Tamil Nadu.

On receiving the information from relatives, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to Naidupeta government hospital. The police registered a case, took Dheeraj into custody and investigating further.
