March 25 last day to file nominations in AP, Telangana
- Along with nomination, the candidates should submit five years Income tax returns and criminal cases details.
- scrutiny of nominations will begins on 26 March.
Hyderabad: Today (March 25) is the last day to file the nomination for the coming elections in AP, and Telangana.
As it's the last day, it's expected that a large number of candidates will be rushing to filling their nominations. The EC has released the notification on 18 March.
Along with the nomination papers, the candidates have to submit the five years income tax returns, and also must include the criminal case details (if any).
The TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Jana Sena Party supremo Pawan Kalyan has already filed their nominations. Even many prominent leaders from the concern parties have also completed the nomination process.
From 26 March, the scrutiny of nominations will begin, and the Last date of withdrawal of candidature is 28 March. The polling will be conducted on 11 April. The elections results will be declared on 23 May.
