The former chief minister and TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 72nd death anniversary. Chandrababu who took to Twitter on Thursday paid tribute to all the martyrs as well who contributed to the welfare, unity and peaceful lives of the people of the country.
Chandrababu said that Gandhiji is a pioneer of the country who taught the nation about the virtues to be implemented in everybody's lives apart from achieving independence for the country.
On the other hand, TDP chief wrote a letter to Union Foreign Minister Jaya Shankar to take steps to bring back the 58 Telugu engineers who stuck in Wuhan, China following the cancellation of flights from China. The flights were cancelled as part of precautionary measures in the wake of fast-spreading Coronavirus across the world.
