Kakinada: The members of AP Medical Contract Employees and Workers demanded that the authorities enhance a hike of Rs 16,000 for security personnel working at the Kakinada Government General Hospital.
In this connection, they staged a dharna in front of Collectorate here on Tuesday. The union president, K Ramaiah and general secretary N Anil Kumar said that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy should increase salaries for the GGH security personnel as they were facing immense hardships due to financial constraints. GGH sanitation contract workers demanded that the authorities pay their salary immediately.
