Amaravati: AP Water Resources Minister Anil Kumar Yadav has commented that nearly 18,000 families are being affected by the constriction of the Polavaram project Cofferdam.
Speaking to media on Monday, Minister criticized that the earlier TDP government has spent Rs 100 crore for the Polavaram tours. For gates arrangement and publicity, they have spent 2.5 crores.
He said the Polavaram project works would resume from 1st November. To reduce the expenditure of Rs 100 crore, the government has decided to conduct the reverse tendering of the Polavaram project, Minister said.
He said the corruption that happened in the Polavaram would also come out.
