Minor girl gang-raped in Tirupati, police held two accused

Despite the uproar on the crimes on women across the country, there is no stopping for the rapes in the country. Yet another girl was allegedly raped by two youths on Saturday in broad daylight at Alamelu Mangapuram near Thiruchanuru in Chittoor district.

It is reported that the girl was abducted by the unknown persons on the pretext of lift. However, the police who plunged into the scene captured the culprits and taken into custody. Two scooters and two cellphones were recovered from them. The police identified the accused as Venkatesh and Rajamohan Nayak who were guilty of rape.

The victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination. Locals demanded the police to punish the accused severely.

However, it is most disgusting as the criminals are in no way scared of the law despite the police taking quick actions such as encountering the accused as done in Disha's murder case.
