Nandyal civic authorities remove encroachments

Kurnool: The officials of Nandyal Municipal Corporation took up a drive to clear road side encroachments. On Saturday the officials of Town planning department visited Padmavathi Nagar and dismantled the constructions built on the culverts.

The officials said that if anyone constructs shops on culverts, or set up fast food centres on roads, they will be removed. The shop owners will be penalised if they create problems to the pedestrians. We have concentrated on removal of illegal constructions in the town premises, said the officials.
