OMC introduces Friday-Dry Day in Ongole
The Ongole Municipal Corporation has introduced the Friday-Dry Day program in the town and is taking up special sanitation programs in five of the 50 divisions on every Friday.
Ongole: The Ongole Municipal Corporation has introduced the Friday-Dry Day program in the town and is taking up special sanitation programs in five of the 50 divisions on every Friday.
As part of the special sanitation drive, the workers will clean all drains, remove silt and it's heaps, debris and waste shifting, counseling for vacant land owners in those respective five divisions.
The commissioner P Niranjan Reddy participated in the special sanitation drive on Friday at Muktinuthalapadu in 2nd division, Gandhi road in 23rd division, Mamidipalem in 30th division, Arava colony in 30th division and Puli Venkata Reddy colony in 9th division and inspected the work of the sanitation workers.
The assistant commissioner, municipal engineer, sanitary supervisor and sanitary inspectors have participated in the drive and overseen the works.
