Organ donation awareness rally taken out at VR Siddhartha Engineering College
The NSS unit of VR Siddhartha Engineering College in association with Karuna Eye Bank organised a rally on the occasion of Organ Donation Day from VR Siddhartha Engineering College
Vijayawada: The NSS unit of VR Siddhartha Engineering College in association with Karuna Eye Bank organised a rally on the occasion of Organ Donation Day from VR Siddhartha Engineering College to Kamayyathopu centre in order to create awareness among the public on organ donation and importance of saving lives by pledging to donate organs on Tuesday.
Manvar Sharif, chief technology officer of Enblex Softex Technologies Private Limited and alumni of VR Siddhartha College flagged off the rally. Principal Dr A V Ratna Prasad said organ donation is the precious donation among all donations.
Karuna Eye Bank founder Dara Karuna Sree spoke on the occasion. NSS volunteers of the unit raised slogans and displayed placards to create awareness regarding the organ donation.
