Participating in YSR Kanti Velugu programme held at Sri Satya Sai Gurukulam here on Friday, he said all the states in the country were watching the implementation of the scheme. For the benefit of lakhs of students in the state, the Chief Minister introduced the YSR Kanti Velugu programme.
He advised the teachers to tell about the importance of eyes to the students and how to protect them. Later, he enquired eye specialists about the progress of eye tests. Additional district medical and health officer Dr Komali said senior eye specialists are conducting eye tests to the students and five percent of students are suffering with eye related problems. School correspondent Ayodhya Shyaam, principal Dr PVS Suresh and others were present.
