Passengers protest late running of train
Hundreds of passengers stepped down from Palasa-Visakhapatnam passenger at Korukonda station and demanded to run the train on time.
Vizianagaram: Hundreds of passengers stepped down from Palasa-Visakhapatnam passenger at Korukonda station and demanded to run the train on time. Daily hundreds of passengers like employees and small vendors travel between Cheepurupalli, Vizianagaram to Kothavalasa, Visakhapatnam.
All these regular passengers purchase monthly seasonal tickets (MST) and travel between those destinations. Most of these travelers ought to reach their offices on time. Otherwise they have to face problems by their higherups.
Due to some technical problems, the trains are continuously running on delay of minimum 30 to 45 minutes. K Srinivas, working with the private firm at Visakhapatnam, told that he has been scolded by the management for attending late regularly.
