Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalan alleged that more than 100 temples have been attacked in the state in the last two years alone. He said that it is ridiculous that the culprits being not arrested who destroyed idols in temples. Pawan issued a statement in the wake of attacks on temples in the state.

Speaking on the anarchy going on in the state in the name of the burning of chariots and destruction of idols, he said that it was an escape by Chief Minister YS Jagan from responsibility to say that the opposition was leading political guerrilla warfare. Pawan said YS Jagan is in the position of Chief Minister and opined that people would not be happy if he spoke without any evidence.

"Everyone in the country knows how powerful you are. Who would dare to wage guerrilla warfare on you?," Pawan Kalyan jibes at CM. He said that with 151 MLAs, 22 MPs, 115 IPS officers, another 115 additional SPs and thousands of police personnel in your hands, it is ridiculous for not able to catch those who destroyed statues. "Where is the error? In you? In a system?" Pawan questioned.

Pawan also criticized the YSRCP government for bringing in the situation where even the deacons who have been patient for the last two years have to come on the road. He said Jagan that it would be better from chief minister if he kept his word and caught the culprits and brought them before the people.
