Vijayawada: Gudivada RDO GV Satyavani said on Friday that for those engaged in election duty in other places, a postal ballot voting system was made available in Gudivada Assembly constituency. She examined the postal ballot process set up at the ANR College.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that in view of postal ballot bringing available to the employees who were engaged to election duty, the election duty staff enrolled at polling booths in other districts can avail the postal ballot system. They have to apply for postal ballot in their enrolled district.

They will get the postal ballots at their registered address. They will then cast their vote through postal ballot which will be counted at their designated polling booth, she said.

Presiding and Assistant Presiding Officers and staff members of the Gudivada constituency are advised to cast their vote through postal ballot voting. The process of randomisation has been completed for ballot units, controlling units, she added.
