Prakasam Police department bags Skoch award for the second consecutive year
Prakasam Police Department once again shortlisted for the Skotch Award.
Prakasam Police Department once again shortlisted for the Skotch Award. This is the second consecutive year the award has been awarded. Prakasam district SP Siddhartha Kaushal has been selected for the launch of the project 'Geo-Xo'. Innovative than the current system of government departments. This technology is used to benefit the society is seeking applications from candidates in 60 subjects. Police departments received nearly a thousand applications from all states, including the national police. About 100 projects were selected. There are six projects in our state.
The Geo project launched by Prakasam District SP was one of the projects which were selected for the prestigious award for projects from Anantapur, Chittoor, Visakhapatnam City, Visakhapatnam Rural and Srikakulam districts. The SPs of the six districts will receive the awards along with State DGP Gautam Sawang at the Skotch Awards ceremony in New Delhi on 29th May 2020.
Prakasam district has received two Skotch awards in the past. During his tenure as the District SP Bhusarapu Satya Yesababu, he received the Skotch Awards for ICAP Project and Crime Data Analytics. Prakasam District SP Siddhartha Kaushal expressed his satisfaction with the award.
