RHF car rally on breast cancer awareness on Oct 20
To create awareness among women on Breast Cancer, Roots Health Foundation would organise a Car Rally on October 20 said the Foundation Chairman Dr PVS Vijaya Bhaskar here on Friday.
Vijayawada: To create awareness among women on Breast Cancer, Roots Health Foundation would organise a Car Rally on October 20 said the Foundation Chairman Dr PVS Vijaya Bhaskar here on Friday. A poster was released in this regard.
Addressing the media persons, Dr Vijaya Bhaskar said that October month would be observed as Breast Cancer Awareness month and they would organise a Breast Cancer awareness programme.
He said that awareness among women is essential on Breast Cancer and a rally will be taken to educate them if it is detected in early state that can be cured permanently and it can be detected through screening tests.
He said that the rally would start at 8 am from the Music College at Durgapuram and proceed through BRTS road, Gunadala, Padavalarevu and back to Music college.
Cultural programmes will be organised at the time rally and a meeting will be organised after the rally is completed, he said and added that interested people who wish to participate in the rally should register themselves by paying Rs 250. For more details one can call 8886758758.
