State Level Western Dance Competition on May 26
As part of the 19th anniversary celebrations of Lawrence Dance Institute Moghalrajapuram, Vijayawada, A State level Western Dance Competition and Kids Dance Fest will be organised at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on May 26.
Vijayawada: As part of the 19th anniversary celebrations of Lawrence Dance Institute Moghalrajapuram, Vijayawada, A State level Western Dance Competition and Kids Dance Fest will be organised at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on May 26.
Addressing the media on Friday, Lawrence Dance Institute dance master Y Kumar said that there are various categories in the dance competition which include sub- Junior Solo dance competition for dancers between the age group 4 to 8 years, Junior Solo competition for age between 9 to 13 years and Senior Solo for dancers for above 14 years of age. For Junior Group category the age would be between 9 to 13 years.
Kumar said that the best performers will be given prize money of Rs 15,016 for first, Rs 10, 016 for the second and Rs 5,016 for the third. He further informed that interested participants should register their names on May 26, between 10 am to 12 noon.
The entry fee for solo is Rs 600 and for group is Rs 800. The Guests of the event would be famous movie choreographer Sekhar Master and Mastan Master. The duo will be felicitated on the occasion, he added.
