Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) family has deeply mourned the death of its Resident Medical Officer (RMO)–I Dr B Govinda Narayana, who passed away due to cardiac arrest on Sunday.

Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) family has deeply mourned the death of its Resident Medical Officer (RMO)–I Dr B Govinda Narayana, who passed away due to cardiac arrest on Sunday.

A condolence meeting was held in this regard at Director's office on Monday. Director Dr TS Ravikumar and other faculty and staff of SVIMS remembered the virtues embodied by Dr Goinda Narayana and expressed their condolence and grief.

Dr Govinda Narayana has joined SVIMS in 2000 and served for 19 years. He has actively involved in hospital administration, attended to protocol duties and was committed to the development of the institution.

Govinda Narayana had worked as RMO at Nijam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) before joining SVIMS. He is survived by wife and two daughters.
