Rajamahendravaram: TDP senior leader Ganni Krishna has said that former State Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao has committed suicidein his house at Hyderabad unable to digest the harassment and humiliation meted out to him by YSRCP government in various ways.
The people cannot tolerate this type of attitude of the State government and they are watching the functioning of the state government, he warned. Paying tributes to Dr Kodela Sivaprasad Rao at his office along with other party leaders here on Tuesday, he said TDP leaders and cadre were not digesting the suicide of the party senior leader.
As MLA, Minister and Speaker, Dr Kodela Siva Prasad Rao served the party for 37 years and not having a single blot during his entire political career. The YSRCP government is targeting TDP leaders in a phased manner for which the government has to pay in future, he warned.
YSRCP leaders were trying to tarnish the image of party national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu alleging that because of his ill-treatment Dr Sivaprasad Rao committed suicide which was not correct.
Earlier TDP leaders and party cadre attended to the programme wearing black badges. The party leaders, RM Rao, G Suresh, V Rambabu, VS Rao and many others were present.
