Tirupati: A Taiwanese national was admitted to Ruia hospital on Saturday evening as he complained of cough and sore throat. He has been placed in isolation ward.
According to hospital authorities, Chen Shih Shun (35), who hailed from Taiwan, approached the doctors in the hospital with complaints of cough and sore throat.
It was learnt that he came here 10 days ago on an assignment to fix some machines at a private firm. According to District Medical Officer, Dr M Penchalaiah, the samples of the patient were sent to a laboratory at Secunderabad.
