Under the supervision of traffic DCP T V Nagaraju, the traffic circle inspectors, sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors and others participated in the checks.

Later, counseling was conducted at the traffic headquarters located at the AS Vyas complex near Indira Gandhi municipal corporation stadium. The traffic police explained the ill-effects of drunken driving and asked them to shun the practice.

They said not only the auto drivers but also their families, passengers and their families will be badly affected in case of accidents caused by drunken driving.
