Vijayawada: District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz on Sunday announced that the 'Spandana' programme scheduled to be held on Monday at the mandal, divisional offices and district headquarter Machilipatnam was cancelled in view of the outbreak of Corona virus as well as election code of conduct.
In a press release here on Sunday, Imtiaz appealed to the people to note the point and co-operate with the district administration.
The viral disease has been spreading fast all over the world and has become a pandemic, threatening the lives of the people. As such, mass gatherings have to be discouraged.
