Visakhapatnam gears up for much awaited festival 'Araku Utsav' to begin on February 29
The much anticipated festival of North Coastal Andhra named Araku Utsav 2020 is all set to begin from February 29 and 1 March.
The much anticipated festival of North Coastal Andhra named Araku Utsav 2020 is all set to begin from February 29 and 1 March. The two day festival will be celebrated on a grand note inviting guests from different states to experience the landscapes of Araku city. The festival showcases the culture and traditions of the tribal people in the region while the government is making arrangements for the festival.
With the pleasant weather, the lush green hills, the magnificent mountain valleys, the beauty of the sea, the spectacular beaches is attracting the tourists to this beautiful place Araku. The traditional dance of the tribes, the forest products along with the horn dances along with cultural events.
However, last year's hot balloon festival at Araku Utsav impressed tourists. However, this time the government is making arrangements to entertain the tourists with different themes.
Earlier this month, Andhra Pradesh Minister of Tourism, Culture and Youth Advancement, Muttamsetti Srinivas Rao, unveiled the Araku Utsav 2020 poster at Circuit House in the district.
