The surface frequency in the Odisha region merged with the surface trough formed from Rajasthan to West Bengal. The meteorological department said the same weather could continue for two to three days. Meteorological officials said that a moderate rainfall is expected in Hyderabad, Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts of Telangana.
Fifty per cent excess rainfall is recorded in September during the southwest monsoon period from June to September. The two states would receive rains in the next two days due to the delay in the withdrawal of southwest monsoon.
