Woman commits suicide in Nellore district
A woman has committed suicide by consuming pesticides, becomes critically sick and died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Naidupeta: A woman has committed suicide by consuming pesticides, becomes critically sick and died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. This incident happened at Puduru village in Naidupeta mandal of Nellore district.
According to police, Sravani (21), a native of Battalapuram village in Ojili mandal here in the district had lost the parents when she was one year old. Sravani was brought up by her grandparents since childhood. She got married to Gurushekhar who belongs to Puduru village on September 30.
Recently, on 12th of this month, Sravani consumer pesticides in the house and become seriously ill. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Later shifted to a private hospital in Nellore.
As her condition deteriorated, the doctors suggested to take her to Chennai. With this, the family members took her to GH in Chennai on Wednesday night, where she died while receiving the treatment.
A complaint was filed by the deceased grandfather, that Sravani has committed suicide over unable to bear the stomach pain. On receiving the complaint, the police registered a case and investigating further.
