Women celebrating Disha Act: YSRCP
YSRCP Prakasam district general secretary Ronda Anjireddy praised the chief minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for not only just bringing out the Disha Act but empowering it with various sections so that those people who take women for granted could feel chilling shivers in their spine.
Ongole: YSRCP Prakasam district general secretary Ronda Anjireddy praised the chief minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for not only just bringing out the Disha Act but empowering it with various sections so that those people who take women for granted could feel chilling shivers in their spine.
Speaking to the press in Ongole on Sunday, Anjireddy said that the women in the state are celebrating the act and thanking the chief minister wholeheartedly. He said that the family members of girls and women were living in trauma that they had no guarantee of their safe return to home from the schools, colleges or even from work.
He expressed worry about the increasing number of cases being registered. He hoped that the Disha Act will create fear in the people who want to harass, attack or torture women. He said that the Act will assure the set up of fast track courts, charge sheets and verdict in just 21 days..
