The biopic based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life story starring Vivek Oberoi quickly raked up a controversy when the Election Commission of India stalled its scheduled release on April 12, forcing the makers to release it on May 24, a day after the election results were announced.
Apart from the movie receiving bad reviews, the lead actor Vivek Oberoi also received bad reviews over his less-than-convincing portrayal of the Prime Minister.
