Deepika Padukone's video is addressing the film's alleged downvoting on IMDb is going viral. Earlier when Deepika Padukone's 'Chappak' was about to release she has taken a big decision to attend a protest meeting on Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus seemingly riled up some.

After this some people get offended from her and was said to boycott of her movie, while another section of people supported Deepika's presence in JNU and also extended their support to her on social media.

Deepika had gone to the JNU in Delhi because she wanted to give her support to the students protesting against violence there. However, she has only met the students of diverse political hues and did not even speak a word. Each party was amplifying her silence to suit its convenience and somehow Chhapaak got mired in controversy.



While, the film Chhapaak also scored a very low IMDb rating--that of 4.6 stars-- as compared to Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, got a high rating of 8.5 stars. As both were releases together.

Some reports alleged that because Deepika has visited JNU that's why Chhapaak saw a downvoting in large numbers on IMDb and its rating was reduced.

Now a promotional video of Deepika which is doing rounds on social media, one can heard Deepika while she was giving back to Chhapaak detractors and saying, "Unhone meri IMDb rating badli hai, mera mann nahi" (They have changed my IMDb rating, not my mind).

According to the inputs from IANS, Chhapaak is still running in cinemas and has reportedly earned Rs 32.48 crore just by ticket sales in India.
