The makers of the 2016 Sandalwood blockbuster Kirik Party, starring Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna, have another reason to rejoice. The song ‘Belageddu…’ from one of the highest grossing Kannada films, has received over 10 crore hits online.

The entire team has been tweeting on the song's popularity, recalling their good old shoot days. The film also marked the debut for actress Rashmika Mandanna. Both Rakshith Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna, who broke off their engagement in 2018, tweeted their views on success of the song.
Rshmika in her tweet said, "Belageddu – My first ever song. Which I absolutely adore reached 100M. I remember making this song mine. Living through those montages. And just finding Saanvi in me. Ahh.. The journey." tagged Rishab, Rakshit Shetty, Samyuktha Hegde, Ajanesh and Paramvah Studios. In reply to the tweet, Rakshith Shetty replied, "Your love and adoration to Belageddu song has got us to an astounding 100M Views on YouTube! Taking a moment here to appreciate Ajju for creating this marvel."
Music composer Ajaneesh Loknath, shared a tweet: "My first 100M views song #Belageddu Always special for me. Thank you all who made this possible , Thank you god , Rakshit shetty, Rishab Shetty, Vijay Prakash and C R Bobby."
Rakshit is shooting for his next film 777 Charlie and will then embark on shooting for Sapta Saagaradache Yello from January 2021. Rashmika, who has done films in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil, is set to make her Bollywood debut shortly, alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu in early 2021 and has also starred in her first music video that has music by Badshah and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
