Arun Vijay, son of veteran actor Vijay Kumar who was a contemporary of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth had a good start to his career in 1995 when his debut film 'Murai Mappillai' was appreciated.
Yet, a series of wrong choices and delayed productions lobbed off a considerable time in the growing-up phase of his career. Holding on gamely, 42-year-old Arun has made a mark in not only Tamil films presently but also Telugu cinema where he played stylish, anti-hero roles including the one in Prabhas starrer ' Saaho'.
His 25th movie 'Thadam' is now being remade in Telugu and Hindi as it was a roaring hit for its gripping narrative. As he tweeted recently: ' When the world seems unjust, show that you can live'.
