NTR, Nani and Nagarjuna Akkineni have hosted the Bigg Boss Telugu seasons till date and NTR got more audiences approval then the other two. Nag was able to sustain interest for better part of the show, as TRP ratings suggest but he did look half-hearted as a host.
Many think that he may not return to the hosting job for another season and Star Maa might go for a new star hero. Megastar Chiranjeevi could be the better choice if that is the case, feel audiences.
He showed wit, spontaneity and his sense of humour has always been great. If he takes over the mantle just like he did with Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu from Nag, this show might be better suited for him than MEK.
We don't know yet if the actor wants to do it or not as well. Kamal Hassan has been doing it in Tamil and if Chiranjeevi chooses to host in Telugu, it could be a refreshing change for the show as well.
In any case, Bigg Boss team has to come up with list of contestants and show format before they can worry about the host. They do need to revamp the show format and select contestants better for the next season.
