Rana Daggubati' s upcoming flick 'Virataparvam'with the tagline of 'Revolution Is An Act Of Love' is set in the 1990s. First look poster of the film co-starring Sai Pallavi was released on the occasion of Rana's birthday.

Rana in the poster is hiding his face with a red handkerchief. Police can be seen in the background with guns in their hands hinting they are actually on hunt.

Given that, director Venu Udugula's debut flick 'Needi Naadi Oke Katha' won accolades from all corners, there are good expectations on his next film as well.

Zareena Waheeb, Nandita Das and Eshwari Rao are the prominent cast in the film which is predominantly a romantic drama with many action sequences.

Sudhakar Cherukuri bankrolls the project with Suresh Productions presenting it.

No doubt, Rana will be the first gen next star to don the role of a Naxal and he is bound to create ripples as a revolutionary who believes in a strong ideology.

Earlier, superstar Krishna (Encounter) and Mohan Babu (Aadavilo Anna), Vijayashanti (Osey Ravulamma) and Roja (Sammakka Sarrakka) played gun-toting rebels to fight against the establishment in support of poor and downtrodden.

Instead of trekking a familiar path, the grandson of Ramanaidu is carving a niche for himself with movies like 'Ghaji,' 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' and upcoming 'Haathi Mere Sathi.' Good going Rana.
