Arunayoga Foundation, led by a veteran Yoga Guru Aruna Devi with over three decades of experience, wealth of knowledge and wisdom, has trained over 2,000 Yoga teachers and numerous students from all over the world since 1990

Arunayoga Training and Research Institute is surrounded by lush greenery - a unique and serene place to practice yoga and meditation.

Aruna Devi shares that Yoga is not just a science. It's a philosophy and a way of life. Yoga was developed to achieve harmony between the mind, body and soul on the path to divine enlightenment. Yoga has a practical benefit of strengthening immunity, of preventing and curing many diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure, and alleviating chronic pains caused by physical injuries and other health problems.

Aruna with an idea to set up International Yoga University in future to offer diploma courses, graduate and post-graduate degrees by following our ancient tradition of teaching, Gurukul system of education.

She follows ashtanga means 'eight limbs' and encompasses a yogic lifestyle. Ashtanga is nothing but a form of traditional yoga.

Aruna shares, "Due to my Great Grand Mother I am inspired to do yoga from my childhood. From my childhood onwards I was inspired my great grandmother – Yogini Sadamma, (Siddha yogini) and grandfather Nekkanti Ramadasu from Achanta, (West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh). For freshers what is our advice is don't fear by hearing the very word Yoga. Right from the birth we are in the journey of yoga, even though we are doing yoga in one way or other we are not aware of it."

Siddha yogini Sadamma was a well-known Spiritual and Yoga Guru from South India during the 1940s and taught Yoga to Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and Indira Gandhi.

"My goal is to establish International yoga and Naturopathy university. I am struggling to achieve it from the beginning of my career. I will be very happy and thankful if some Philanthropist and Govt would come to my aid & help me in fulfilling this great cause which is very beneficial to the people," concludes Aruna.
