The Staff Selection Commission on Monday said that the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2019 (Tier-l) in Computer Based Mode will be held at 41 locations in 20 cities in South India.

Hyderabad: The Staff Selection Commission on Monday said that the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2019 (Tier-l) in Computer Based Mode will be held at 41 locations in 20 cities in South India.

An SSC statement on Monday said that in the southern region, 3,91,307 candidates have been admitted for the examination. The examination will be held in 41 venues located in 20 cities.

In Telangana, the examinations will be held at Hyderabad, Karimnagar and Warangal. In Andhra Pradesh, the examination will be held at Chirala, Guntur, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam and Vizianagaram.

Similarly, in Tamil Nadu, the examination will be held at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli and Vellore cities.

The dates on which the examinations will be held in the southern region are March 17 to 20 and on March 23, 24,26 and 27. The examinations will be held in shifts in a day.

The first shift timings are from 10 AM to 11 AM, the second shift from 1PM to 2 PM and the third shift from 4 PM to 5 PM in all the centres and cities, it added.

It said, "candidates can download e-Admission Certificates on our website only four days before their actual date of examination and all the subsequent days till their date of examination." Details of the same are also intimated to the candidates through SMS to their registered mobile number and e-mail.

Candidates are not allowed to carry watches, books, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets like mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pen/buttonhole/spy cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc.

Violaters candidature will be cancelled, besides, legal and criminal proceedings could be initiated against them, it said. Such candidates would also be debarred from appearing in future examinations of the commission for a period of three to seven years, it warned.

Further, candidates will not be permitted to attend the examination without e-Admission Certificate and original valid identity proof enumerated in the instructions attached with e-Admission Certificate.
