Admissions begin into IIIT, Sri City
The Undergraduate admissions for 2019-2020 at Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City Chittoor commenced on Friday.
Tirupati: The Undergraduate admissions for 2019-2020 at Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City Chittoor commenced on Friday. The candidates who have received allotment for the 4-year (8 semesters) B.Tech programmes (CSE and ECE) at IIIT Sri City, Chittoor, through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2019 for the academic year 2019-2020 are required to report In-Person at the allotted institute (IIIT, Sri City, Chittoor) directly and complete the admission formalities before July 23.
On the first day, as many as twenty students completed the admission formalities. Prof G Kannabiran, Director of the Institute has handed first admission confirmation letter to Kaushik Rishi Manchukonda who was admitted into CSE program. Dr Rajendra Prasath, Co-ordinator of Admissions 2019-20 was also present. All staff and faculty members were engaged for admission process and to guide the students and parents. Those who were admitted into UG programme have to report to the Institute on August 10. Orientation programme will be conducted for the students from August 11 to 19.
