BRAOU celebrates International Earth Day in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Dr B R Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Faculty of Science, organised the "International Earth Day" lecture at its campus on Monday.

The chief guest was Prof K Purushotham Reddy; he spoke on "protecting the species". He pointed out that in our country every river polluted by the people. We don't get neither fresh drinking water nor fresh air for sustaining ourselves.

Prof K Seetharama Rao, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU, emphasised that protecting earth and environmental means protecting ourselves from the dangerous situation. Prof C Venkataiah, Registrar, BRAOU Presided over the function. Prof P Madhusudan Reddy, Dean Faculty ofScience welcomed the gathering and introduced the Speaker and the theme.
