Narayankhed: Local police arrested a total of 16 gamblers at a poultry farm on the outskirts of Jaganathpur village in Narayankhed mandal on Wednesday.
Circle Inspector Sandeep said that following a tip-off, a team of police personnel raided the poultry farm and seized Rs 63,700 in cash and 15 mobiles from the gamblers.
He said the gamblers would be produced in the court. He called upon people to bring to his notice if anyone is found playing cards. He also said the informers' names would not be revealed.
