Serilingampally: Chandanagar Inspector Ravinder on Friday called for public alertness towards the rising instance of cyber crimes. He conducted an awareness programme in the police station and released a posted listing the precautions to be taken against cyber criminals.
The CI advised the residents to be on guard against phone calls with regard to cash prizes, taking care not to share or inform the OPT numbers received on their cell phones. Among those who participated in the awareness programme were Chandanagar SIs, Cyberbad Crime SI, staff.
