The BJP Medchal district unit on Tuesday urged Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy to order completion of Telugu university buildings located at three places as the students at the Bachupally campus were suffering.

Neredmet: The BJP Medchal district unit on Tuesday urged Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy to order completion of Telugu university buildings located at three places as the students at the Bachupally campus were suffering. In a representation, four leaders called for early completion of the work of the buildings and shift the students there.

Among the leaders who called on Reddy were unit vice-president Malla Reddy, district president Madhavaram Kantha Rao, secretary Nataraj Goud, State Executive Committee member Nandanam Diwakar.

The leaders pleaded for provision of all facilities in the hostel, effecting improvements to the university library and steps to save the books, completion of the administrative and university buildings and use them, saving valuable varsity lands by building a compound wall and posting a watchman, allocation of Rs 100 crore to the varsity and develop it, shifting the university buildings to a single complex in Bachupally, allotment of houses for teaching and non-teaching staff, removal of plants to enable free movement of students, immediate supply of the Godavari water to students, providing RTC bus facility to students to attend classes in the Nampally campus.
