Cheats come out on bail, warn complainant

Osmania University: A person who lodged a complaint against two accused for cheating him to the tune of Rs 14 lakh was threatened after the accused persons released on bail.
According to the police, on January 6, a compliant was lodged by one K Kanakaraju (31) at Osmania University police station in which he stated that two persons R Koteshwar Rao and Eliya borrowed nearly Rs 14 lakh from him.
When the complainant asked for the return of money, they warned him of dire consequences. On receipt of the complaint, the OU police arrested both the accused and sent them in remand. A vexed Kanakaraju lodged another complaint at the police station on Monday. A case was filed under Section 506 IPC. Investigation is on.
