According to police, the incident occurred when the victim couple Satyanarayana and Revathi was travelling on Venkatadri Express.
They went to Tirumala, a couple of days ago and after completing their darshan returning to Hyderabad from Tirupati. By registering a case police are investigating. They are suspecting that the suspects could have stolen the ornaments from the bag when they were sleeping.
