CP Anjani Kumar holds co-ordination meeting with all departments
City Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar conducted a co-ordination meeting on the forthcoming Moharram (Islamic month) with all departments and religious heads at Royal Classic Convention Function Hall near Etebar Chowk in Mirchowk on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Anjani Kumar said that the meeting was held to arrange bandobast for the forthcoming Moharram and Ganesh festivities. The preparation of the bandobast for Moharram had already started by police (traffic and law and order wings), GHMC, HMWSSB. This year, Moharram and Ganesh festivities are happening during same period. He requested citizens to maintain peace and communal amity.
The Commissioner also cautioned the WhatsApp groups administrators not to forward any offensive videos, or else police would take stringent action against them. Later, he said that 120 patrolling vehicles had been active 24x7 around the city. He urged the citizens in case of any problem, they can contact 'Dial 100' and within 8-10 minutes, police would go to their help.
Additional CP (Traffic) D S Chauhan, Additional CP (L&O) Tarun Joshi, Joint CP (SB) Avinash Mohanty, and all DCPs, Yakutpura MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri, MLC Mirza Riyaz-ul-Hassan Effendi, Pathergatti division Corporator Syed Sohail Quadri, Mujawar Alawa-e-Bibi Aliuddin Arif, Maulana Dr Nisar Hussain Agha and others were present.
