Osmania University: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Greater Hyderabad Secretary P Sri Hari has demanded that the RTC reduce student bus pass charges. He criticised the Chief Minister for his "adamant rule." He stated that during the RTC workers strike the students suffered the most.
"Student from poor financial background use RTC busses to commute. The government is suppressing students by increasing bus pass charges. It has failed to check rising tuition fees in private schools and colleges," he added. ABVP threatened to stage protest if bus pass charges were not reduced.
