Hyderabad: Former CEO of TV9 V Ravi Prakash appeared before the Cyberabad Cybercrime police on the second consecutive day on Wednesday. Earlier, on Tuesday he appeared before the police for the first time after the Supreme Court bench directed him to appear before the investigating officer and cooperate with the probe relating to the cases lodged by the Alanda Media Group alleging forgery and cheating. After questioning him for more than six hours based on the evidences collected the police asked him to appear before them on Wednesday also.

According to sources, he said through illegal means some rich persons became syndicate and purchased the channel and filed false cases against him and by violating the rules they removed him from the CEO post.

After completion of the enquiry on second day, addressing the media in the premises of Cybercrime office, he gave a call to media personnel to fight collectively against the mafia which was trying to occupy the TV channels one by one by misusing the power of police and politicians.

He further alleged that the mafia in Telangana is trying to forcibly take over Mojo TV channel from the actual owners by threatening them. The forcible occupiers are trying to threaten the journalists who are working in the interest of public and unearthing the facts to save democracy and for a better society. He said in coming days they will intensify the agitation against the mafia with the support of people to save the Telugu TV channels in the State.
