Free dengue tests conducted in Diamond Hills
With city gripped in viral and dengue fever, Axis Foundation under the guardianship of AIMIM party Chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi organised a free health camp at Zavia Building in Diamond Hills, Shastripuram on Sunday.
Shastripuram: With city gripped in viral and dengue fever, Axis Foundation under the guardianship of AIMIM party Chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi organised a free health camp at Zavia Building in Diamond Hills, Shastripuram on Sunday.
The camp was led by Dr Hafsa Fatima with her special team of doctors. More than 500 patients availed the free consultation services and around 250 patients were diagnosed for the dengue test, in which around 80 per cent were children, said Mohammed Misbahuddin, corporator Shastripuram division.
He said that the dengue test, which costs around a minimum of Rs 2,000 at private diagnostic centres, was done free of cost at the camp. The test reports of blood samples taken for the dengue test would be given next day.
Free medicine was also distributed among patients. The free camp would be providing services for the next 5 days from 10 am to 1 pm, he added. Asaduddin Owaisi along with Mohammed Misbahuddin and others inspected the camp.
