Hayatnagar: Lorry ploughs on to divider, catches fire

A lorry caught fire after losing control and ploughing on to the divider on national highway at 5.10 am. The lorry bearing registration number TS30 T 2999 was travelling from Hayatnagar to Abdullapurmet when the incident happened.

The failure of the lorry's steering is said to be the cause of the accident. After hitting the divider, the diesel tank got damaged and fire started in the lorry. The driver immediately got down from the vehicle and escaped unhurt. The fire department officials came to the spot and controlled the fire.
