Health kiosk new attraction at railway station
The health checkup machine set up at the Secunderabad Railway Station has been drawing a lot of customers. For about Rs 60, the passengers can get their health report within minutes.
Secunderabad: The health checkup machine set up at the Secunderabad Railway Station has been drawing a lot of customers. For about Rs 60, the passengers can get their health report within minutes.
The health checkup machine does body composition analysis that includes blood pressure, fat, protein, water in the body, minerals, pulse, height and weight, in addition to body water and mass index (both muscle and body).
Total body weight and percentage of body fat is also calculated and within 10 minutes, the body report will be given by machine. And at the health checkup machine, one male and one female nurse were deployed, and they will also do sugar test for the passengers on the spot.
These health checkups machines, one at Secunderabad station and the other at Kachiguda station, are open between 9.00 am to 10.00 pm. About 200 passengers are using the facility per day. These have been installed by Team Lead Corporates (TLC).
Raja, 32, a passenger, said, "If we got a checkup done in a private hospital, it would cost a lot. This is easy and one gets to know of one's health condition in a matter of minutes."
