The works were sanctioned under Mission Bhagiratha before the assembly elections, she said in a statement here on Friday. The MLA and his men had not even joined TRS by then, she said.
Funds about Rs 320 crore were sanctioned for the development of the constituency, the corporator said. Lakshmi said the leader who claimed himself as president was in no way related to the committee.
