Novotel celebrates Planet 21 anniversary
Novotel Hyderabad Airport celebrated the Accor Hotels sustainability initiative ‘Acting Here Planet 21’ anniversary.
Shamshabad: Novotel Hyderabad Airport celebrated the Accor Hotels sustainability initiative 'Acting Here Planet 21' anniversary. As a part of the celebrations, a 3 pit vermicompost has been set up around the premise to convert organic waste into fertilizer.
To reduce food and kitchen wastage they promoted the idea of Best out Of Waste under which team of chefs has put together an array of recipes that are made with the ingredients such as peals, stocks, etc. A plantation drive was organized within the hotel premises to maintain a green cover.
"We at Novotel Hyderabad Airport are working towards reducing food wastage and also relentlessly focusing on various ways towards sustainable development. Planet 21 is a brilliant initiative and has witnessed wonderful teamwork towards a common goal," said Ravi Khubchandani, General Manager, NHA.
